Praise be to Allah for His manifest and hidden blessings, and may peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad, the bestowed mercy and the granted blessing, and upon his family, his Companions, and all those who follow his guidance and path until the Day of Judgment.
It is my pleasure to welcome our esteemed guests and visitors to the website of the College of Law. I hope that this website will serve as a window reflecting the College’s mission, objectives, academic programs, and academic and research activities.
The Islamic University of Madinah, which has been and continues to be a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Muslims around the world, advances through its ambitious vision and authentic mission toward academic excellence and leadership in higher education. It builds upon a well-established scholarly heritage and the generous support of the Kingdom’s leadership, may Allah preserve them, from its establishment to the present day.
The College of Law represents an extension of this distinguished academic legacy and contributes to keeping pace with the legislative and regulatory advancement witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Saudi Vision 2030. The College seeks to serve as a scholarly resource for preparing qualified legal professionals who combine sound grounding in Islamic jurisprudence, a comprehensive understanding of laws and regulations, and professional competence, thereby contributing to the pursuit of justice and the strengthening of the rule of law.
The College is committed to excellence in teaching and research and to continuously developing its academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in accordance with quality and academic accreditation standards. It also places particular emphasis on practical application and on strengthening partnerships with judicial and legal institutions, as well as with public- and private-sector organizations, thereby contributing to connecting legal knowledge with professional practice.
The College also places special emphasis on developing the academic and professional skills of its students and instilling the values of integrity, responsibility, and commitment. This enables them to contribute effectively to the development of the Kingdom’s legal system and to compete professionally in the local, regional, and international labor markets.
In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to supporting the College’s journey, including faculty members, staff, students, and partners. I ask Allah Almighty to grant everyone success in serving the faith and the nation, and to preserve our country’s security, stability, and prosperity.
