Deanship of Admission and Registration
The Deanship of Admission and Registration was established in 1400 AH. It is concerned with receiving applications for admission of the Islamic University, reviewing them in accordance with related rules and regulations, registering students, and monitoring procedures, from students’ admission until their graduation. Two Vice Deanships fall under the Deanship of Admission and Registration: the Vice Deanship for Admission Affairs, and the Vice Deanship for Registration Affairs.
Deanship of Student Affairs
The Deanship of Student Affairs seeks to provide all the helping means for the student from the beginning of his arrival; by receiving him, giving him his stipends, submitting to him his university card, as well as providing care to them through various extra-curricular activities that highlight their talents, develop their perceptions, and work to finalize their procedures with the relevant authorities, and follow up on their conditions, and address the difficulties that may face during their studies and residence in the Kingdom.
Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation
It was established with the kind approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques by telegram No. (693/MB) on 3/2/1430 AH to play its effective role in establishing a culture of quality, and to contribute to achieving the goals of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission on quality assurance, and to identify the best methods and methods for the advancement of higher education in the Kingdom Saudi Arab.
Deanship of Scientific Research
The Deanship of Scientific Research at the Islamic University was established by virtue of the a resolution of the Supreme Council of the University No. 161 in its fourteenth session held on the 27-28 of the month of Rabi` al-Awwal of the year 1404 AH, which included the establishment of a center for Scientific Research at the University. The center was established to contribute to enriching Scientific Research in the fields of Islamic and Arab studies, and to reviving Islamic heritage. This center consisted of a number of departments, namely: the Department for Authorship, the Department for Critical Editing , the Translation Department, the Publishing Department, the Library and Documentation and Administrative and financial affairs Department.
Deanship of Academic and Managerial Development
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Education Council, may God preserve him, approved the establishment of the Deanship of Academic and Administrative Development at the Islamic University under the directive No. (2921/MB) 12/ dated 4/1427 AH.
Deanship of Alumni and International Cooperation
The Council of Higher Education approved founding the Deanship of Alumni Affairs by issuing Resolution No. (32/49/1429 AH) in its (49th) session held on 4/2/1429 AH. In 1441 AH, a decision issued by His Excellency, the Minister of Education to change the name of the deanship to the Deanship of Alumni and International Cooperation.
Institute of Research and Consultative Studies
The Institute of Research and Consulting Studies at the Islamic University was established by a decision of the Higher Education Council culminated in Supreme Approval No. (15/61/1431) dated 10/26/1431 AH. The Institute is the university’s interface and marketing arm for the university’s potential in order to provide all services from training programs, conduct research and studies, and provide paid consultancy services to all governmental and private community institutions, whether in the system of tenders, invitations or initiatives. The Institute is working to take advantage of the university's scientific and technical capabilities to provide its services with high accuracy and flexibility, to be the distinguished choice for all community institutions.
Institute of Teaching Arabic
The Arabic Language Institute was first established in 1386/1387 AH, based on the University Board’ second session dated 07/29/1383 AH, under the name “Department of Teaching Language to Non-Arabsas it was dedicated to non-Arab natives with low or no Arabic proficiency to reach the proficiency level needed to pursue studies in the university colleges or institutes and their affiliated schools, in accordance with their academic qualifications. The Council of Higher Education amended the name to be “Arabic Language Institute for Non-Native Speakers” In 1422 A.H.
