Physics Department

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and all his companions.

Since its establishment in 1433 AH, the Department of Physics at the College of Science, Islamic University, has been committed to achieving a leading position among similar departments in Saudi universities and to applying international quality standards. Physics, throughout history, has not been an isolated discipline; rather, it has always been closely connected to all other sciences. Indeed, it is considered the cornerstone of modern sciences and global technological advancement across all fields.

Accordingly, the Department has been keen to offer up-to-date and well-developed physics programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It also contributes to other scientific programs at the Islamic University in a way that serves the community and meets the diverse needs of the labor market. In addition, faculty members actively engage in scientific research and strive for continuous development.

We are pleased to present the Department’s website as a platform that connects the Department, with all its members, to the beneficiaries of its academic programs.

May Allah grant success.
