General Administration of Digital Transformation
The General Administration of Digital Transformation at the Islamic University of Madinah is the strategic enabling entity responsible for leading institutional digital transformation. Under the leadership and supervision of His Excellency the General Supervisor of Digital Transformation, Dr. Majed Amin Hariri, the Administration, represented by the General Administration of Digital Transformation, works to build an integrated digital ecosystem based on effective governance, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, while applying the best practices and national standards issued by the Digital Government Authority, foremost among them the Essential Digital Transformation Standards, thereby enhancing the University’s readiness for national measurement indicators and raising the levels of compliance and institutional excellence. Its key responsibilities include:
Governance of digital initiatives and services.
Development of enterprise and technology architecture.
Enabling integration between systems, platforms, and data.
Organizationally Affiliated Entities
- Information Technology Department: Responsible for operating the technology environment, managing systems, infrastructure, technical support, and the continuity of technology services.
- E-Learning Center: Responsible for enabling digital education, managing learning platforms, developing electronic content, and supporting the digital learning experience.
