The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education is a major representative in community service and the third function of the university, and this makes one of the most important priorities of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education is to provide a distinct community service that reflects the excellence of the university with its programs, goals and aspirations. The Sustainability Office was established under the General Administration of Projects at the University as part of the organizational restructuring, pursuant to the decision of His Excellency, the University President, dated 19/06/1447 AH, reflecting the University’s commitment to promoting sustainability concepts and activating sustainable practices across various academic, administrative, and operational fields.The Office is concerned with contributing to the institutionalization of sustainability principles within the University environment by supporting relevant initiatives and projects, enhancing the efficiency of resource utilization, and promoting institutional and community awareness. This contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and strengthening the University’s competitiveness in this field.The Office also works to coordinate with relevant entities both within and outside the University, in a manner that supports the development of a more sustainable, efficient, and nationally aligned university system, consistent with modern global practices.

General Administration of Projects

The General Administration of Projects at the IUM serves as the engineering and administrative entity responsible for studying university projects and overseeing their implementation. It aims to provide a cohesive campus environment that fulfills the university's mission and meets the requirements of its staff, students, and visitors with high efficiency and quality.The administration plays a pivotal role in managing the university's project ecosystem by proposing future projects in alignment with the strategic plan. Its responsibilities include preparing studies, designs, and project documentation, as well as supervising the execution of infrastructure, educational facilities, and service and recreational amenities. Furthermore, it participates in preliminary and final handover committees and monitors contractor payments to ensure that works are executed according to approved technical specifications and executive drawings.To enhance output quality and institutional reliability, the administration works on building an integrated operational framework based on effective governance. This includes implementing international quality management standards, attracting distinguished administrative and engineering talent, and providing a suitable work environment while periodically reviewing quality objectives to ensure continuous and efficient application.It achieves the university’s strategic goals and contributes to supporting the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
