Scientific Departments of the College of Arabic Language
The college includes three scientific departments:
Department of Linguistics
Establishment:
The Department of Linguistics was established when the college was established. Since its inception, the department has participated in supporting the university’s educational mission, as it offered specialized scientific programs and participated in offering the programs of other colleges. It also had a prominent impact in enriching the scientific movement in the field of linguistics, by preparing distinguished researchers and scientific projects and various community services.
Mission:
Preparing specialists in linguistic studies, equipped with research and communication skills that contribute to creating knowledge and achieving sustainable development and community partnerships.
Department of Literature and Rhetoric
Establishment:
The Department of Linguistics was established when the college was established. Since its inception, the department has participated in supporting the university’s educational mission, as it offered specialized scientific programs and participated in offering the programs of other colleges. Department of Media
Establishment:
The Department of Media was established at the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion on 9/28/1432 AH, and a decision was issued to transfer it to the College of Arabic Language on 4/7/1439 AH. Since its inception, the department has participated in supporting the university’s educational mission. It offered specialized scientific programs and had a prominent impact in enriching the scientific movement in the field of media by preparing distinguished researchers and offering various community services.
Mission:
Preparing specialists in communication and media sciences, equipped with research and communication skills that contribute to creating knowledge and achieving sustainable development and community partnerships.
