Eng. Mohammed bin Mahdhar Mohammed Sindi
General Manager of the General Directorate of Projects
All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers.
In alignment with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, and as an extension of the Islamic University’s mission in academic excellence and community service at both local and global levels, the General Administration of Projects plays a pivotal role in supporting the University’s developmental journey through the integrated and professional management of construction and development projects. This contributes to the creation of an advanced and sustainable educational and research environment.
With a firm belief in the importance of efficiency-driven institutional transformation, we are committed to establishing an integrated project management system that applies best engineering and administrative practices—from the stages of studies and design, through execution and supervision, to delivery and operation—ensuring high-quality outputs, efficient resource utilization, and the maximization of the developmental impact of projects.
We also place significant emphasis on developing a smart engineering and execution environment in project management—one that enables performance monitoring, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making—thereby enhancing the reliability of implementation and elevating the quality of both current and future projects.
In this context, we believe that project management is no longer limited to the execution of construction works; rather, it has become a comprehensive approach that contributes to reshaping the University’s environment, improving asset efficiency, and achieving sustainability, in alignment with the University’s standing in the Islamic world and its global aspirations.
We are equally committed to fostering integration and collaboration with various University sectors and relevant stakeholders, based on the conviction that project success is a shared responsibility built upon effective partnership, role integration, and the promotion of a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
We ask Allah Almighty to bless the efforts of all University members and to grant us success in fulfilling the aspirations of our wise leadership, and in serving our University and our nation.
