About Department

The University Warehouses Management is one of the departments affiliated to the administrative and financial affairs of the university, and is a department that all sectors of the university depend on, to supply and oversee all needs related to furniture, equipment, stationery and office supplies and equipment.

 

The warehouse management is responsible for implementing the guidelines, rules and procedures of government warehouses, supervising everything related to warehouse operations, monitoring their supply and upkeep, carrying out periodic inspections of inventory, and coordinating with the various university departments in estimating the annual needs of different items, organizing, and maintaining items according to the appropriate methods for the nature of each item, while also providing means of safety and security in the warehouses.

 

The Warehouses Department is responsible for implementing the regulations, rules, and procedures governing government warehouses, and for overseeing all warehouse-related operations. Its responsibilities include inventory management and control, warehouse supply and replenishment, inspection activities, and coordination with the University's departments to identify and determine annual requirements for various items and materials.

The Department also ensures the proper organization, storage, preservation, and maintenance of inventory items in accordance with the nature and requirements of each category. In addition, it is committed to providing appropriate safety and security measures within warehouses to safeguard assets and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
