12/05/2026

The Islamic University of Madinah has strengthened its digital ecosystem with the launch of the intelligent assistant "Ohod" — an interactive channel designed to provide university staff and visitors with fast, efficient, round-the-clock access to information and university services.

"Ohod" represents a significant step in the university's drive to harness artificial intelligence in improving user experience and advancing informational and technical support, in line with the rapid digital transformation taking place across the education sector.

The assistant was launched under the supervision of the General Administration of Digital Transformation, with oversight from the Deputy General Supervisor of Digital Transformation, Engineer Abdullah Ahmad Al-Zahrani, reflecting the university's commitment to elevating the quality of digital services and expanding the adoption of modern technological solutions.

The assistant enables users to receive instant answers and digital guidance, reducing wait times, streamlining access to university services, and strengthening communication channels between the university and its internal and external audiences.

The launch of "Ohod" is an extension of the Islamic University's ongoing efforts to build a comprehensive digital environment and advance its digital transformation journey in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
