Objectives and Tasks, Aqidah Department

Objectives and Tasks:

1.    To introduce students to Aqidah, religions, and sects.

2.    To instill Aqidah, values, ethics, and Islamic principles in the hearts of students.

3.    To qualify specialists in Aqidah and religions, proficient in the fundamentals of their specialization, capable of dealing with local and international developments, and meeting the contemporary requirements related to their field.

4.    To reinforce the values of moderation, balance, and a correct understanding that contributes to building a well-rounded personality.

5.    To formulate students' scientific competence based on analysis, deduction, argumentation, and scientific research methodologies.

6.    To prepare a generation of researchers in Aqidah, religions, and sects, possessing critical thinking skills and the fundamentals of scientific research, enabling them to pursue postgraduate studies in specialized areas.

7.    To master the skills of criticizing deviant sects and responding to them.

8.    To apply what students learn in the field of interfaith dialogue.

9.    To meet the needs of the Islamic world and other communities by preparing specialists in Aqidah   .

10. To equip specialists in Aqidah and religions who can take responsibility and exercise wisdom in communicating with others.

11.  To train students in utilizing modern technology in their field of specialization.

12.  To train students in building tools for scientific research.
