Establishment and Mission of the Department of Qur'anic Recitations

Establishment:

The Department of Qur'anic Recitations was established concurrently with the founding of the college under Royal Decree No. (26511) on 6/9/1394 H, during the blessed month of Ramadan. This decision was based on the recommendation of the Higher Advisory Council of the Islamic University, convened from 12/4/1394 H to 20/4/1394 H.

Mission:

The mission of the department is to care for Quranic Recitations in terms of education, performance, and compilation, as well as to enrich specialized scientific research. This is in service to both the local and international communities.
