Head of the Department of Tafsir and Quranic Sciences:

Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Sakkakir

Tasks of the Department Head:

First: Planning

1.    Presiding over the department council meeting, overseeing its organization, inviting members to its sessions, implementing its decisions, and sending session minutes to the college dean.

2.    Achieving the university's goals and overarching policies.

3.    Implementing college council decisions related to the department.

Second: Supervision

1.    Supervising the preparation of the department's strategic plan and monitoring its implementation.

2.    Overseeing the management of educational, research, administrative, financial, and cultural affairs of the department.

3.    Supervising the administrative, academic, and research development of the department.

Third: Evaluation

1.    Providing periodic reports to the college dean on the progress of work in the affiliated units according to assigned tasks and highlighting encountered difficulties.

2.    Reporting to the college dean any faculty member's violation or deviation from required duties or any other infractions within their purview.
